2017 Annual Pathfinder District WintereeFebruary 3- 5Pathfinder District has their annual Winteree at Camp Alpine
We had a total of 21 scouts, 4 adults. and 3 patrols, the Honey Badgers, Thunder Chipmunks and the Flaming Falcons. The Honey Badgers tied 1st place overall in points with another patrol and won 1st place in the Sledge Race, 2nd in the Blindman's Knot and 2nd place in Archery. The Thunder Chipmunks won 2nd place in the Sledge Race. The Flaming Falcons won 3rd place in Archery, Memory Pitch, BB Gun Shooting, and the Rescue Mission.
Camp NO-BE-BO-SCO Fire Tower HikeMarch 4-5Troop 349 hikes back to Fire Tower for the first time in 5 years.

2017 Annual Pathfinder District CamporeeApril 28- 30Pathfinder District has their annual Camporee at Camp Schiff. This year the theme was Hunger Games and one scout from each troop was put into the tribute patrol.

Court of HonorMay 11Two scouts receive the rank of Star Scout while several others receive Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class.

First Class Skills Camping TripJune 17-18The Troop goes to Camp Alpine so that newer scouts may fulfill their all their requirements from Scout to First Class.
2017 National Scout JamboreeJuly 19- 2840,000 Scouts Gather for a 10 day adventure at the Summit Bechtal Reserve in West Virginia. Troop 349 goes as a part of Jamboree Troop 1123.
2017 Week 5 Camp KeowaAugust 5-12Troop 349 goes to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Ten Mile River on Saturday August 5. They then spent the rest of the week working towards merit badges and having fun participating in spirit programs. They also challenged the Staff in Ultimate Frisbee and lost 2-8. However Troop 349 won the Campwide Games with Troop 298 from Brooklyn and also the Troop of the Week for 2017 Week 5 of Camp Keowa. 3 of our scouts, Aryan B. Gabriel Y., Sam B. worked at Camp Keowa this summer. 2 at scout skills and 1 at Ecology.
